By completing registration, you agree to operate as an independent merchant on the MzansiEats platform.
1. SaaS Subscription & Billing
Merchants pay a monthly software listing subscription to access the kitchen dashboard and receive customer orders. Payments are billed in advance. A 5-day grace period applies to failed payments before storefronts are automatically paused.
2. Customer Refunds & Settlement
MzansiEats does not hold customer payments in escrow and holds zero financial liability for refunds. Any missing items, order cancellations, or food quality complaints must be settled directly between the Merchant and Customer.
3. Food Safety & Compliance
Merchants warrant compliance with municipal health regulations and certificate requirements in KwaZulu-Natal. Vendors declaring dietary claims (Halaal, Vegan) are strictly responsible for ingredient verification.
4. POPIA Data Handling
Customer contact information provided for order fulfillment must be used solely to prepare and deliver food. Misuse or harvesting of customer numbers is strictly prohibited.
